That's right, I finally got a ps3! My third Xbox 360 broke last week and seeing as I've already got a XBO I figured its time to expand my gaming horizons. I decided on ps3 over ps4 because I can't stand playing a new series without starting on the first game. Also the hd remastered collections and ps1/2 classics in the online store were major factors in my decision. I got the buldle with Lego batman and the sly cooper collection and the other games I picked already are kingdom hearts final mix 1.5/2.5, god of war saga, last of us, ico/shadow of the colossus. Future purchases will be uncharted games, chrono trigger/chrono cross, xenogears, tales of games, final fantasy 7-10 and probably many more. Anyways I'll stop rambling now, I'm just super excited as its the first time I've been a owner of every system and it feels so good, I'll never get caught up in fanboy wars again lol!

Congratulations on the system.

I know the feeling about game series, wanting to start at the first one and then go on to play the next.

Take dragon Quest:
1-3 st game : GBC/GBA
4-6th game : NDS
7th game: PS1
8th game : PS2
9th game : NDS

Stuff like that wil have you suffling consols around alot :)
(or resorting to emulation)

Exactly, being a late adopter many major titles can be found in bargin bins for $5 now.

Thats how i felt with kingdom hearts especially, i picked up the 3ds game awhile back without doing any real research and then found out it comes right before kh3 so i never touched it. Thank god for the final mixes, saved me alot of trouble!
