Does anyone know Sony's market share with phones? Are they making a profit with this sector?

What rumours? But it is another nice incremental upgrade given how well desinged the previous phones have been. Sony just needs to improve the software, keep the top class battery and improve on marketing The inclusion of the exposed waterproof USB port is a good step forward, so long as there is still a microSD card port (I haven't read anything one way or the other) I'm still happy with my Z2 though, got another year before it needs replacing. What I want is USB type C, wireless charging and that microSD card to still be there |

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it'll be a good phone and I really like the capless waterproofing, but they've been using the same design with many of the same features/components since the Z2 now.
But personally, my biggest gripe is that the Xperia Z3 isn't the most comfortable phone to hold, and for another itteration they haven't done anything to fix that.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

There have been rumours for years, Sony have said that it's unlikely to happen. I think they'll keep going for a little while longer at least
The Z2 is only a year old! The problem is they have to have less frequent flagships in my opinion, if this had been the Z3 there would be a lot fewer complaints.
As a Z2 user, I'm very happy with the design of the phone, I think it feels great to the touch and fits nicely in my hand. But clearly that's just a matter of personal preference

1080p doesn't improve image quality on such a small screen but it allows for more real estate on the screen. More things can fit on the screen and be great quality, text can be smaller and finer the youtube app when video is on the bottom right looks strange on a 720p screen.
There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'
Sounds like a cheaper Z3 would be a better choice then. Hopeful of a better deal on that now.
It has a waterproof USB no? So it looses the magnetic charger port and one flap. Which for me is the best improvment but not enough to upgrade from My Z3 Compact.
These phones just don't make the same rate of improvements and innovation as HTC or Samsung, which really does puzzle me. For a flagship device, the specs are a little dated and design looks exactly like S3/2.
I'd like to see another midrange device, like the SP, which I think is the best device Sony have put out yet.
