Probably not.  Their best shot was last gen, with a front.loaded Wii and Sony's initial mistakes. Now that Sony is fully awake, next gen and beyond is most likely theirs to lose.  And if MS finishes a distant 2nd next gen, I imagine they will drop out of HW.

It was the more popular console, and that's coming from someone who never owned it.

yeah you see that would make sense if the ps3 didn't outsell the 360, but it did, so your statement is false. if you said the 360 was more popular in the united states or united kingdom, then you'd be correct, but we're not talking about just the united states or united kingdom, so you're wrong.

I think MS will never win a generation until Sony is in the Market; playstation brand is simply too popular, and playstation consoles too good.

I don't need to, I'm not biased, the 360 was the most popular of the two last gen. I'm not getting into a debate with an obvious Sony guy.
