Because we know that MS underperforms in Non English speaking country's which happen to be almost whole Europe except UK. If Microsoft ever wants to win a generation they need to win US and krep up in Europe, which has a different and for Microsoft largely unknown gaming culture.

Sony gets Europe and releases game which appeal on both sides of the ocean, like Uncharted, Gran Turismo, The last of us and some other games. WHILE halo and gears almost exclusively do amazing in US and UK and a lolot worse in Europe even for its userbase. 

No not really, I don't think Sony will win every gen by default like some users keep entertaining themselevs with, I feel MS should just go back to their roots and stick with PC's, revive old IP's they once had on PC, make new studios and just advance forward with already evolving hardware that isn't locked down.

I feel them going back to their original strengths will be good enough for them, they'll certainly be a powerful force that Sony won't ever be taking over if at all, you can try claiming Sony will win every gen till the end of time based on this gens easy win (thanks to two corps fucking up to Sony's advantage) but they won't be winning at everything like in the PC space.

it is a big ask for MS to win a generation due to Japan. As XBOX needs a different approach to get Japanese gamers buy their console. Or try a different approach like an XBOX mini for China or mid-tier markets.
