Is it decently playable on the gamepad ? Cause the only reason I didnt get this game for my WiiU is cause I fear itll suck to play this in the gamepad.

The digital Wii games aren't emulated and also go into Wii mode, so that doesn't hold.

I know. Still they patched in Gamepad-support for these, so it is an additional value. You can use all buttons, including Home-Button. Home-Button shows the Wii-dialog for going back to Wii-menu and you can control the pointer with the sticks to choose OK or Cancel. But it goes back to WiiU-menu if you click OK.

Also the digital games are counted in the usage-app (how many hours you played which title), while Wii-mode isn't.

All Wii games that supported the Wii Classic Controller should be playable with the Wii U Pro Controller. Surely, it shouldn't be that difficult an option for Nintendo to implement.

That I didn't know, although I assume they could also implement it for the Wii-mode if they really wanted to, they might prefer if you just use the Wii's own diary to see the individual title usage.

It sounds like the Gamepad as a whole has been mapped as a CC, not sure if it has been patched in the OS or iso, I'm assuming the latter going by what you say. Still the patch mapping these controls could have also been done on the Wii-mode as a whole, even adding Pro controls. But thinking more about it, if they patched it through the OS there would always be one classic controller active and that could mess up some games.

Yes, at least here in europe.

The game works with the Classic controller, Wiimote + Nunchuck and the Gamepad.
It does not work with the Wii U Pro controller though.
