I think the most recent Kirby game was heavily affected by the less than stellar critic average on Metacritic.
I think the same goes for Splatoon.
if it averages over 85 it'll sell over 2 million this year.
under 85 and I think it may struggle to get past 1 million this year.

JAJAJAJAJAJJA you know this is too little for whats up, face the fact; splatoon is going to sell at least 500k it has a ton of hype and I think it deserve's it :D but don't worry on the weekend i'll come back to you and we will see who was right
