Fantastic game. Its music is its biggest strength. I really like it. I think what makes it stand out from NSMBU is that there are individual abilities for each character, and the ability to team up. It makes NSMBU feel bare bones.

I do too! I even have a top 100 video game soundtracks playlist on youtube :) i have been adding songs for over 2 years now. ^^
I feel that TF is better than the Rare trilogy, personally. I do wish the Kremlings would have been the villains though. Maybe in DKC6...
You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt! I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading. After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!
The original DKC2 on SNES was much better, especially regarding gameplay and soundtrack.
I feel like whenever I see somebody express dislike for this game, nine times out of ten it is entirely because it isn't Metroid Prime 4...
Have a nice day...
It's probably my favourite side-scrolling platformer of all time. The godlike soundtrack, great and diverse level design, and sweet art direction makes it a true gem. Such a shame that it didn't sell better.
It's amazing, a must have for ANY Wii U owner. Wish more people bought but I'm glad to see it over the 1m mark
Yes. My favorite 2D platformer since SNES times. Except for maybe DK jungle beat which is criminally underrated. That game beco es pure bliss once you get the hang of it and it is a truly unique game. Comboing through the levels is amazing, trying to get all platinum medals. (Bongo controller works surprisingly well)
Tropical Freeze is just as amazing though. It's soundtrack is among the greatest of all time, it plays great, and has just the right amount of challenge for me.
