Ok i dont know how people feel about this game. Is it overlooked or underrated? I think its more than a fantastic game. To be honest it's in my top 5 favorite video games of all time. Everything about it is great. Controls, gameplay, level design and lenght, and all worlds feel really special and every level is unique and fresh, and should i even start to get into the soundtrack? It has probably one of the best if not THE best video game soundtrack ever. Go listen to songs like scorch and torch or seashore war and big top bop from the game. I really love it and the atmossphere. So am i wrong here? , and why would'nt people appreciate it as much as i did?

Maybe I dont love it as much as you, but I definitely love it. Is clearly one of the best platformers I´ve played in my life. It´s almost perfect, the only flaws are the lenght (that is not bad, but not great) and the bonus levels where you collect all the bananas are a bit repetitive. Other than that, the game is superb. 9/10 for me.

I believe it is the best 2d platformer of the generation thus far.

It really was an amazing game and I loved it! There was something missing for me in DKC: Returns and DKC: TF that the original trilogy had. I can't quite place it.

Still give TF a 9/10. The controls, while a bit loose and floaty, are great. The level design, the soundtrack, the graphics. It's all pretty incredible.

Its good, a must buy if you own a Wii U.
Mario kart, captain toad, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, I think are the best games for the Wii U atm.

It's an easy 9/10 for me, ain't done with it yet either so :) might even get higher

It's everything I wish 2D Mario currently was. Which is bad in many ways and good in many others.

I gave it a 9.2 and it's one of my favourite sidescrolling platformers (Super Mario World is my #1).

Way better than the original trilogy, they're pretty overrated in my opinion (but still good).

I have a WiiU. I should get this game.
