Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii U owners! Which publisher is second place?

Activision or Platinum Games.

Ubisoft, then Warner. That's interesting because I don't own a single Ubisoft or Warner game on Wii or 3DS.

Curve Digital for Indies.

The Platinum games are published by Nintendo.

Early in the Wii U life span, Ubisoft supported it as much as Nintendo did, maybe more - at least for the games i was purchasing then - so def Ubisoft

Looking back at it, it is pretty clear that Ubisoft believed in the Wii U. Its a shame the sales didn't reflect this belief. I'm really liking what they did with it and what could have been possible.

I agree-  It is too bad supporting the Wii u like they did, did not work out for them - maybe next console but they will prob be more cautious the next time around

Ubisoft for sure.

Ubisoft, mainly because they put out the Just Dance games and while they don't sell as well as they did or still do on the Wii, they are still performing better then most other 3rd party software.

I don't know who's second, but I like Capcom's IP the most.

I would say Platinum Games. I still think that if third parties had supported the console more during its first years, it would have sold more today.

This videos comes from 2011, they seemed existed at that time

Platinum has never been a publisher, they have developed games but those are usually published by someone else, such as Nintendo publishing Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2.

Initially the Wii U received great support especially from Western 3rd party publishers with the exception of EA (BF 3, NFS, Crysis 3 and sports games) and Take 2 (GTA V). The list below is 1 year old and it was only from that point publishers started to skip Wii U versions due to low sales.

OT: The 2nd best publisher to support the Wii U is either Activision, Ubisoft or Warner imo.
