Croatia calling. I checked Battlefield Hardline and GTA V. They're both 500kn or 66EUR in stores and on PSN for PS4, and 450kn or 60EUR in stores or on Origin/Steam for PC.

I favour the Xbox One controller for PC. Tried both it and the PS4 controller but getting the buttons configured for the PS4 controller didn't quite work for some games and it was completely unusable on others. The Xbox One controller was much easier to set up and works perfectly, in game control schemes even show the actual buttons from the controller unlike when using the PS4 one.

Hmm, no doubt the Xbone controller would work better in Windows. Thanks!

So... All in all I see that there is a price difference between PC and console games (25 pounds vs 37 pounds is always something), even if it isn't as big as in Poland (though Steam prices are the same over here, so don't you fret). Maybe that's the reason why console gaming is much more popular in the West, while here PC is still king. I mean, If I buy a $1000 PC that is gonna blow PS4 out of the water, I'm gonna get the difference in price back after around 20 games. Considering I need a new PC either way for work and to browse Internet/watch movies... The purchase of a PS4 makes less and less sense to me :-/

PS. GTA 5 is on 7 discs!? Isn't there a Bluray Disc version available?

PPS. What are grey steamkeys?

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Physical a little cheaper than console games, digital much more cheap.

So, since PC games are cheaper everywhere, what keeps you playing consoles? To tell the truth, I jumped to PS3 2 years ago because my gaming laptop died, I got a Vita and PS Plus sub and got it brand new for 800 zł (200 Euro) and PS3 had a massive backlog of great games for cheap. But when I compare PS4 to PC it just doesn't seem worth it!

More expensive than current-gen console games...

PC games tend to be anywhere from $0-$15 cheaper when compared to the console versions, from what I've observed. They also get discounted sooner, it seems. I bought five multiplats last year within a month of their release, and I spent an average of $43. I'm pretty sure if I bought those same five multiplats on console the average price would be something in the upper $5X. That alone saved me something like $75 on multiplats, in 2014. And that is for the best version of said games too (1080p 40-60 fps on my PC.) And my PC only cost $100 more than a PS4. $75 + $50  = $125 in savings. Of course my PC uses more power than a PS4/XBO, so maybe add in a few dollars per month to the cost of the PC on an electric bill (which is an included utility in my rent agreement.)

Here in Brazil:

Current gen games = 200BRL (which means around 60USD)
PC games = 100BRL (which means around 30USD)

Note: Sony/Microsoft first party games tend to be a bit cheaper (160-180BRL which means around 45~55USD).

Note 2: Some mercenary companies (like WB) tend to push the price and charge 250BRL for current gen console games. There is even one version of Mortal Kombat X that coasts 300BRL and just comes with an extra character and other minor thing.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

70€ for a new PS4 game. 0€ for a PC game on the internet. I think it's fair.
