The ZombiU figure should be standalone units only, as NPD doesn't include bundled software. In other words "sales" from the ZombiU Wii U bundle are excluded. Still pretty bad though.

The W101 and Bayonetta sales makes me sad. Nintendo should release a Platinum collection incl. Bayonetta 1 & 2, W101 and perhaps MadWorld, and also include a Bayonetta Amiibo.

Yeah,I have asked three times today if the leak about zombi u includes the sales from the bundles! Will we ever find out?:P

Zombi U bundle was quite limited in the US, at a time when Wii U sales were really slow. I don't think it's a significant number.

So, if Bayonetta is still massively overtracked here in the US, how much has it sold WW? I'd be interested to hear from Nintendo on this.

If you compare MP 9 and MP 10, MP 10 did way better.

MP 10 came out on the 21st and sold 290k;
MP 9 came out on the 17th and sold 214k.

Even in Europe, it's off to a better start 39.200 (MP 9) vs 56k (MP 10).
Could the Amiibo included in the game be responsible for this?

Unfortunately, Wii U sales aren't good...
20% increase in the first quarter is actually really bad when in 2014 Wii U basically had DK in February and Mario 3D World released in December. Now, Wii U had Kirby and MP 10 and add to that 2 system sellers: MK 8 and Smash.
Even if you take out MK 8 out of the equation, things still look bad.
With the catalog of games Wii U already has, it should be doing better than 20% increase.

What???

Talking about Wii U sales?

Bayonetta is selling on Amazon the problem not having so-called great numbers is because retailer, like my locals, haven't re-stocked this game, for whatever reason I do not know. Bayonetta sold out quick in all place like Toy R Us Target, etc but stores haven't re-stocked. It's not NINTENDO either because Amazon is re-stocking this game. Maybe port strikes have something to do with it.

I know just do not get you saying a 20 percent increase is bad. 20 percent increase is great just because you expect better numbers doesn't mean it's bad.

still havent got bayonetta 2 and i do plan on getting it its just money is real right with me right now

If sales were higher than 20%, it would be good, because at least the growth would actually be substantial.
20% of low sales result in a low growth.

And when you take into consideration that Wii U now has Mario 3D, MK 8, Smash, a better catalog and a lot of the press is now gone, i think it's reasonable to expect a better result.

Also, this pretty much shows that the usual decline in sales for a console already in it's 3rd year on the market, will be more harmful to Wii U than you'd want.
We all know how "well" Nintendo supports it's consoles after it's system sellers are out.

I'm kinda glad to see MP10 sell so damn well! I just wish it was a better game..
