Idk if we will get some huge megaton announced at E3 and released this holiday, but I'm sure we will get at least 1 unannounced game revealed and released this year, maybe something along the lines of Captain Toad like we had last year.

Right now the major exclusives set for the 2nd half of the year include Yoshi's Woolly World, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Mario Maker, Fatal Frame V, Devil's Third & Star Fox. I could see the lineup looking something like this

August-Xenoblade Chronicles X

September-Mario Maker+$50 price cut

October-Fatal Frame V+Yoshi's Woolly World

November-Star Fox+Devil's Third

December-unannounced title

Is it crazy to say that I like the lineup of Yoshi, Xeno X, Mario Maker, FFV, Devil's Third and Star Fox more than last year's of Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, Smash and Captain Toad? And that's even without considering an unannounced game that's bound to come out.

For the most part, I think Wii U is set in terms of big releases to finish out the year, here's the Q3/Q4 exclusive retail lineup of Nintendo-published titles for Wii U in 2013/2014/2015.

2013-Pikmin 3, New Super Luigi U, Wonderful 101, Wind Waker HD, Wii Party U, Super Mario 3D World

2014-Wii Sports Club, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, Super Smash Bros, Captain Toad, NES Remix Pack

2015-Yoshi's Woolly World, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Mario Maker, Fatal Frame V, Devil's Third, Star Fox

6 Nintendo-published exclusive retail titles each year. We might get 1 or 2 minor titles at E3.

As for 3DS, I'm not sure. I was hoping Fire Emblem IF & Youkai Watch would make it to the west this year but it seems both are set for 2016. I'm not sure if Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is retail or just eShop, maybe that & Pokemon Z or X2/Y2 will be the fall combo for 3DS with some localizations like Final Fantasy Explorers or Bravely Second showing up as well.

Not crazy at all, Yoshi, Xenoblade & Mario Maker look great, Devil's Third looks like it has potential and can't really comment on Star Fox yet since we know pretty much nothing about it yet lol but I'm excited for it, it's been too long since the last games.

Worth noting is that for Wii U, I could see them announcing a world wide release of SMTxFE in December, but that's not too certain given the size of the project.

Also, can I jsut say that the Wii U lineup in the second half actually looks to have a lot of potential?  Especially with the way Mario Maker is shaping up.  MM was looking to be a small fun title with lots of limits, but now looks really deep and interesting.  The others are all middle weights historically (potential aside) or light weights (Fatal Frame and Devil's Third for sure), but the combination has potential.  If Star Fox is 64-esque, the nostalgia alone will be a major boon to the Wii U.  These factors plus a pricecut and a smart bundle or two could result in a pretty big second half.  But I think the pricecut very much key to all this.

I think 2016 will be the best year for the Wii U, because it will probably have Pokken Fighters, Zelda and Animal Crossing as Xmas titles.
This year the games we will get in the second half will probably Devils Third, Xenoblade, Mario Maker and Star Fox.

Nintendo may also be able to get a price cut for next year

No, SMTxFE was confirmed for 2016 in the west.

And I agree that the lineup has potential and a pretty solid mix of titles. Things like Xenoblade/Fatal Frame/Devil's Third for the "hardcore"/mature crowd, things like Yoshi/Mario Maker/Star Fox for the traditional Nintendo fan and kids/families.

Yeah.  Although in terms of weight, I would say that Xenoblade is in a different league from FF and DT :P .  DT is untested and Xenoblade for Wii sold more than the entire FF series has sold combined :P

Also, must have missed the SMTxFE 2016 confirmation, I just saw it undated while FE:If was confirmed for 2016

I think it was confirmed 2016 for Europe. Oddly enough, they didn't mention the date in the NA Direct.

I agree, Xenoblade will perform much better than the other 2, but I just mean it's nice we have a strong lineup of exclusives that appeal to different markets/demographics and in different genres.
