Forums - Nintendo Discussion - New 3DS Exclusive Games?

I've been doing some research for a New 3DS, and right now I do not see the incentive to getting one. The only exclusive game I know for the system is Xenoblade 3DS. Are there any more games that I do not know about? Do you think we'll have any announcements at E3 that are excluisve for New 3DS?

What are your thoughts on the system itself, has it been worth it to you? I hope we get at least one announcement at E3...

Thoughts?

There are currently no other exclusive games and I don't think there have been any other games announced

I bought one when it came out, having never owned a Nintendo console since the GBA and I've enjoyed it so far

Having said that, I did slip back to P4G and now P3P, but there is a really nice jRPG backlog to dig in to

So far I've only got Professor Layton Azran (finished), Pokemon Y and LoZ A Link Between Worlds (never played a Zelda game!!!!!)

Bravely Default, Xenoblade, Kingdom Hearts 3D and Fire Emblem are probably next on my list.

If there were one thing to ask for, it would be better battery life, especially in sleep mode. Just by comparison with my brother and his not new 3DS, it doesn't really seem to be improved. The 3D also does nothing for me, it just seems to look blurry for me, but that may be something wrong with me. I'm not a huge 3D fan in general and only really see films in IMAX 3D, so the 3D switch is basically locked in the off position.

I picked one up with Xenoblade Chronicles N3DS and it's just fantastic. No slow down whatsoever in that gigantic world. I'm sure there will be so many more games for N3DS to be revealed shortly, although we don't know how long devs have had with the system so it could take maybe until Winter to reveal some big games. Nintendo, however, should have been working with it for a while so I'm expecting something huge at E3.

The N3DS, however, is supposedly to boost the 3DS life span for at least a couple of years.

Of course, but not much... some like 5/6 games.

Xenoblades. But im pretty sure Twilight Princess and Mario Sunshine was rumored, as well as other Gamecube games

They will be!Wii and Gc ports I think...Nintendo would like, along with the new adopters, quite many old 3ds owners to buy the new model,so this is a good way to force them!:P

Binding of Issac with be new 3DS exclusive, and we will probably see a handful more indie games new 3DS exclusive because of its Unity support. However, I'd say the main features are the greatly improved 3D, the improved load times and the nub.

I made a thread about the games avalible exclusive for the system.

New 3DS game list

You know it deserves the GOTY.

What about Fire Emblem?

Congrats on getting a 3DS, you will enjoy it, there are plenty of games to play on it plus backwards compatability.

But yeah youre right, the battery life it pretty meh. Honestly the only last handheld with good battery life was the DS Lite. Mine would initially last about 16 hours on one charge.

Same here, the 3D looks a little blurry but only when at max. I find that when I increase the 3D effect over about 50% it becomes fuzzy. I think its just our eyes.
