890 bytes per second? If I transfer that to mb/s it say 0,00712??? That's really really really low. Maybe the tranfer site is wrong?

Edit: I'm really bad at this, so what is 890 in mb/s xD

like a week or so of downloading (at night its somewhat better)
thing is the downloader is totally crap when I shutdown the PC or pause and exit the downloader 50% of the time it either loses half of the downloaded stuff or starts from scratch. So I am not allowed to shutdown the computer


TBH its quite fail that greedy rockstar sells more GTA codes than they have server capacity. 890bytes is  I dunno "9.6k modem speed" and was invented in 1980 or something.

Isn't it a 60gb file or something like that? My internet would take like 5 hours to download it, I guess. (Unless too many people preload the game and the servers are busy or something like that)

Rockstar sold more games than their servrers can deal with.
But as long as their wallets get filled I guess they dont care much (nothing changed in the last 5 days or so)

The steam version on the other hand seems to have no trouble providing 15mb/s speeds etc.

Yeah, when I downloaded it I think it peaked at around 19 MB/s (on Steam).

This really sucks, you'd think they would get their own servers sorted.
