Comparison between E3 2014 trailer and yesterday's livestream. 

Lightning seems less noticeable, and textures are more bland. Doesn't matter to me, but it seems that something happened during development. Those ones that claimed a downgrade back in 2014 seem to be right after all. 



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Textures nop, lightning hell yes, I also notice that some mosnters and dolls are not touching the floor instead they slide mmm.

The biggest downgrade here is the replacement of that sick Char Custom with some bulky blue thing.

A shame, yes. Not that matters a lot though. Also, if it wasn't for this, I would never have distinguished the difference.

Not sure if you want to use the words "downgraded." In the trailer, yes, but it doesn't take anything away from the actual gameplay. Give us something in comparison from E32013 vs Direct2015 in terms of scenery. Xenoblade Chronicles has never recieved top cred for being the best looking "close-up" visuals. The E3 version probably couldn't handle all of the important features that the new Xeno NEEDS in its game, let alone 1080p.

In other words, I'd rather have 1080p over 720p. The game is still sick in terms of quality in its scenery. No other game has beaten it to date. FF15 might come close, but it'll be lucky if it surpasses Xeno X's greatness.

Yup still buying it. I don't even think the 'downgrades' are all big. Heck if it wasn't for the comparison video I wouldn't have even noticed.
