Yeah there was a few articles floating around a while back about this and their planned method of implementation. Something about them specifically needing Nintendo's help because of the sheer size of the game. 

Also I have a 32gb Wii U and I often forget about the fact that theres an 8gb white one. Wish they had a 32gb white one, would be nice. Hopefully I can fit the files that need to be installed on my console without having to delete Wind Waker or 3D world... or any of my other games patches for that matter. Might be time to look into getting an external HDD.

I have the 32GB black one, but only about 6GB left.

I think I'll wait for the Japanese release, someone will undoubtedly put up some comparison videos to show the difference the installs make, then I can decide from that. I don't want to buy an external hard drive if I can avoid it, so I may just knuckle down and put up with the load times.

And with that, the last true console falls. Glad I'm almost entirely a retro gamer and still living in the plug and play era. Hopefully Nintendo doesn't let this happen again, optional or not.

Y-You know this is going to enhance your experience for free, do you know that?

Plus if you don't have enough space just pop in a spare SD card or USB stick and you're good to go! :)

Edit: And its only optional.

I of course don't buydigital on Wii U and have no other game installs, aside from some updates and MK8 DLC.

So I'll install all four.

Thanks man, completely forgot you could use a USB drive; I have an 8GB one lying around unused, gonna tranfer some of my less used stuff to it now to free up space.
