Street fighter & clones.

Any Sonic fan knows how bad the Sonic community is. Matter of fact, you will mostly hear it first from a Sonic fan.

From my experience, COD or poker players.

DOTA 2, without any doubt. 3 hours in the game, and everyone in my team was very persistent in calling me noob. I know, I have only played 3 hours, how am I not supposed to be noob? I was also fat, and my mom was not pretty, acording to them. Jesus, what a painful experience...

I am going to have to go with the Starcraft II community.

Starcraft Broodwar and Warcraft III had good communities, but Starcraft II does not. The SCII community just took all the fun out of the game. Sometimes I wonder if the Call of Duty and League of Legends community took over the SCII community with their spare time. It is difficult to describe why it the community is so bad, but I am sure those who have played Broodwar and SCII will understand.

Hmmm. Never was bad for me. I used to go play texas hold 'em and chat on there. Never experienced a really bad side of it.

Xbox had the absolute worst community last gen, from insult throwing twelve year olds with headsets to the scumbag dudebro crowd and those online who were physically attracted to the console and routinely shat on the PS3. That title has since been passed on to Playstation which has hilariously amassed the same audience. Nintendo's online community is fucking awful as well, doesn't matter which game you choose there's an audience of arrogant ponces behind it. I've said enough about them in the past and my view will never change.

The fighting game community is pretty toxic, save for DOA and Virtua Fighter those groups are actually pretty nice and welcoming. The community is one of the main reasons why fighting games don't sell as well as they should. They come off as the bullies of the video game schoolyard.

I've read nothing but bad things about the League of Legends fans and just about every other online multiplayer game's community. The ignorance of people has pissed me off for years.

Bottom line is that every community is the same, console, game, whatever, they're all equally horrible, people just look at their's through rose colored glasses.
