Konami can just drop off the face of the planet now. Kojima is getting paid, regardless, so I'll wait for him to start up a new ground-breaking IP outside of Konami.

If a company thinks it get fire its ONLY ASSET because they don't trust his ideas, then I won't be supporting that company.

Of course it`s his game. Konami can try to tear the roots, but they`re too deep. Most people in the community will know it`s a Kojima game first and foremost.

If it wasn`t for their DDR games, I wouldn`t care if Konami died off.

I dont even get why Kojima got "fired?" cause he is like the best developer at Konami. Like maybe their interests didn't aline or something but man, him leaving is like GG for that company imo cause I doubt that the future MGS games will be the same without him

I really want to know what happened behind the scenes cause this doesn't make much sense

All these news bits are still confusing so I'm basically going to watch things unfold first..

I think it is safe to say that Konami's executives are not stupid. If they are getting themselves involved in a civil dispute with Kojima, then there probably is a good reason. After all it is Konami executives that have the most to lose. Currently my sympathies lie with Konami executives, but I will reserve my final judgement until after more facts are known.

I thought it was Hideo Kojima's decision to remove his name because he felt like it wasn't his game.

Konami is trying to restrict Kojima. Kojima doesn't like it. Resentment on both sides grow until the rift widens.
