Thus, the console war is joined by the NFC figurine war.
I'm predicting a long-term victory for Nintendo and Amiibo.

Idk I was a kid in the 90's, all my friends and myself had to have all the Power Rangers/Pokemon/Beast Wars/DragonBall Z toys.

Really? Among my friends it was generally everyone had a favorite and we'd share toys when visit each others place.  I had the green ranger or Vegeta, you have the red ranger or Goku, for example. I cannot imagine a kid having the entire set of any toy.

It helps that all you have to do is buy the figurines, not a $100 starter pack first, but there's no central game for Amiibos yet and the stock issues are still real.

I wonder how many more toys2life brands will the market maintain.
Will Microsoft join the fun with their own Minecraft NFCs? And Sony?

I don't mean literally every one but we each had a dozen or so toys of each series, some of my friends were also into WWF and had dozens of those.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Will buy!

Never met anyone like that growing up.  Could probably fit all my action figures in a couple shoe boxes.  Just seemed new to me then.

O-Ok then..

Is this the new thing now then?

Would be cool if you can customize your own lego figure and use that in-game.

Seems pretty cool still and I'm sure Lego will do a better job than Nintendo as well.
