those NFC figures are basically DLC with some plastic -> massive margin. no wonder they 'all' want to do it.
must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:
WiiU: Donkey Kong
XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse
I wonder how retailers are going to deal with the shelf space needed for all these NFC toy lines, lol. Was already getting cramped with three of them. Bye bye Vita section in many stores I think.
I really feel for parents these days, Skylanders, Infinity, amiibo and now Lego. That is a a ton of little figures kids will be asking for.

U make it seem like kids weren't constantly asking for toys before these released lol

True, but I've seen the craze of collecting these figures in particular create. When I was a kid there was generally "the toy" you wanted instead of a set of 10-30 toys.
I'm surprised Lego didn't jump on this way sooner, or even came up with it in the first place. They are in the perfect position as a (leading) toy-maker!

Idk I was a kid in the 90's, all my friends and myself had to have all the Power Rangers/Pokemon/Beast Wars/DragonBall Z toys.
