If Nintendo were cooler, their games would sell more or at least it would help with the marketing. I don't have a problem because for me, games are more than aesthetics, but when something is cool to watch, you have attention. Because Kirby and the rainbow curse, Code Name Steam and the faces on Xenoblade Chronicles (to give you some examples) are the definition of not cool, even if those games are fantastic. 

Again, I don't care about that, I'm seeing things with a different POV. Splatoon looks cool imo, the inklings look great! but where is the cool CGI trailer and viral campaign for those who are not Nintendo fans? The "Nintendo caters to everyone" excuse is kinda crap, because Disney does the same and they're COOL. A trailer or design can be for everyone and COOL. Even if I hate them a little bit these days, I must admit that Ubisoft is the coolest publisher when it comes to characters design and trailers. Second would be Blizzard(I like Blizzard, they're so cool :p) So Nintendo should do the same, because they create amazing experiences that sometimes are ignored because "man, this looks too kiddie and not so cool"

Being cool in the eyes of the mainstream gamer is not Nintendo's priority. Even if it should be at times.

There is nothing cooler than games like Bayonetta, Zelda, Mario, Pikmin, Fire Emblem, etc. to me.

Less heated debates with Nintendo fans would help.

Huh, I didn't know Disney was considered cool in the gaming industry. I havn't played one of their games since forever but I do agree that Nintendo needs to hire a marketing team that doesn't suck and not use Comic Sans on anything anymore

Nah. Nintendo can't exactly make hype trains like the twins. You need to be able to shoot someone in the face with a shotgun to be able to build a sufficient hype train and no Nintendo game does that.

Nintendo already changed their logo from red to silver.. that makes them pretty cool!

But yeah, anything that can improve the image of Nintendo is always good

not really in the gaming industry, but with their movies!
