OT: It was retarded of PC gamers to make the petition for Bloodborne to be on PC. Bloodborne is a Sony game...... There is NOTHING wrong with Sony gamers telling Sony to protect their exclusive. Bloodborne on PC will never happen though so it is really not worth worrying about

I understand people making or signing the petition.

You invest in a console (here, the PS4), you want to get the most out of it. Exclusive games, good ones, sell more consoles. More people buying your console of choice means more interest from developers. More interest from developers is good for you.

It may be selfish thinking, but it's not dumb.

There's always people who will perceive something as spilled milk while others see it as something good. Either side of it could be right about one thing and wrong about another. From what I understand that game is a full exclusive. Petitions and opinions don't really matter in that situation. Personally, I wish every souls game would be released on everything to gain as much exposure with as much gamers as possible. I want that type of game to gain as much popularity as possible so it becomes a genre. I really like those games.

For most people, politics is about having fun - People want their team to win debates and popularity contests. They want their opponents to be ridiculed and reduced for the sake of appearing grander in comparison. Accordingly, everything that the opposition does right is reduced, and support will go to the same team the following year regardless of what changes were made by either side.

The only individuals who regularly change their stance or have more balanced opinions rarely engage in debates, since they are aware that the opposition won't change their mind, while they don't seek approval from people who happens to support the same team. In other words, people who don't find politics fun.

Sounds familiar?

Not only with games, but this postmodern society we're living in is more about politics than everything. No matter what people do, or what they don't do, there's always some conflict added to it. In most cases, just for the sake of conflict.

For starters how does it effect you as a person?  Its still the same game, just more people will get a chance to play it.  In fact both me and my friend would buy it again.  Secondly I stand by my statement that PC doesnt effect console sells.  Parents arent buying their son and daughter a gaming PC for christmas, theyre buying them a Xbox or PS.  I genuinely believe that PC+Console is the future, but that is for a different day plus im sure some people are tired of hearing me say that.

Anyways my point is that a game is a game, its about having fun, yet it most often comes down to "My console is better because it has this, this, and this", arguing about what somebody on the PR said and how we are robbed as gamers.  And do you really want to know what the worst thing about a console exclusive going PC is?  Its the ridicule and childish comments you read on the internet about that game and console being lesser than what it was before.  Not the fact that it isnt only on a console.  

And while we are at it, most people that says "PC Masterrace", its meant as a joke.  In reality, its the console warriors that are the Master Race arguing about which is better and fighting over exclusives.  

So are you playing games because theyre exclusive or because theyre fun?  What do you all think about the state of the gaming community?

PC gamers are by far the most "arrogant" gamers on average imo. PC gamers feel the need to mention they are PC gamers constantly..... No other game group does that

I agree that a lot of people can be childish about their favorite console's exclusives. But I disagree that it's more politics than gaming and having fun.

It just so happens that the people that are being idiots and worrying about this kind of stuff are the same ones that are very vocal about it online. Why? Because no one else except other people who think alike online will listen to them.

I feel like Im the only one with all 3 7th gen consoles while they just have a 360 and like 3 different game franchises on it(fifa, cod, and gta)....

I also am the only one that has a ps3.
