So South Park: The Stick of Truth is currently on sale on Steam for $13.59.  I love turn-based RPGs, and this one seems to be well received.  I wanted to hear what the VGC forum thought first.  Should I get it?

The DLC is also on sale, both packs cost $1.68.  Since I think the answer to my first question will be a landslide yes, I'd like to know if you think the DLC is worth it.  Was does it entail?  Is it worth the cost?

EDIT:  I have decided against any DLC.

Do you like South Park the TV show? If Yes, buy it + dlc and if No, then don't buy it cause while the RPG elements are great, if you can't stand southpark, you won't be able to make it through the game

yes, it's a great game if you love south park and a great game if you don't. And don't get dlcs they are pointless

I've been thinking about it, too. I got tired of South Park years ago but I did used to like it. Kind of torn.

I loved it, it was a little on the short side for me, but that's also because I was having so much fun with it I didn't want it to end.

If u find South Park funny and like the original Paper Mario games its a must buy.

It' a great game, and a fun RPG. It's not very long, but for people like me with little gaming time, it was perfect. Almost 20 hours to get all achievements (which I normally don't even bother with).

Ignore the DLC. It's just armor and weapons. You can get nicer looking armor and weapons in game. Maybe the DLC makes the game a bit easier, but it isn't very hard to begin with... So... Game: yes. DLC: no.

It's very enjoyable, especially if you like the show. It's like a mix between Paper Mario gameplay with South Park plot. And the plot is hilarious, there were times when I had to stop playing because I was crying lol. One of the best games of 2014 and one of the funniest games ever made. It's an Obsidian game, quality is a given ;)

Great game, a must for fans of show.
