Added a 500gb HDD to my Wii last gen, was the best thing I ever did for the console.
upped the Vita and 3ds to 16gb each and have a psp-go that I bought up to 24gb in total for one of the best little emulation box's tucked behind my TV.
PS3/X360 last gen was happy out with 250gb in both all gen.

also like people said, change the thread title to be Storage, not memory.

I didn't know consoles could upgrade memory

Upgraded my horrible Wii Us storage from 8GB to 1TB. Totally unnecessary though, I should have just gone 500GB, even 250 would have sufficed (if they make those).

Also upgraded my One to a 4TB.

I still have well over 700GB free on my PS4 but when I got it I took my 1TB HDD out of my PS3 before selling it on eBay. I'll never fill it but it's good to have. Especially if my wife & kids continue to buy films on PSN. They don't mind to watch SD but there's no way I'm gonna have a 1080p console on a 1080p TV and pay money for an SD video.

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!
