I thought I was going to hate digital ... I actually kind of like it. Now in 15 years when I can no longer re-download the software i may kick myself. Until then I'll just try to make sure I have a clone of my HDD in case it craps out.

I'm pretty big on physical media, but I also don't think I'd ever pay that much for any game... Especially when there is a viable option with digital. I believe you can format an external HDD and install games directly to that... Its kind of like having physical medium that way and at least they can't just take it away because reasons *cough*OnLive*cough*

“What I say is, a town isn't a town without a bookstore. It may call itself a town, but unless it's got a bookstore it knows it's not fooling a soul.”  - Neil Gaiman

Yeah, you should. It's more convenient.

My credit card payment is due 10 of april, they charged 3,31 reais each dollar + 6,8% taxes, which makes MP10 R$175 and a $60 game go for R$221. Most games go for less than R$221 on "ML", the only case I'd recommend going digital is MP10 or Captain Toad, which they charge full price for. Also, used games sell for only like R$20 less than new, I'd say buy physical and selling later is the way to go.

Usually I would say no but in your case yes.

In your case, yes definitely, as long as you got the hard drive space to support it.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

IMO you would be batshit crazy too. Not only would you have to cope with the Wii U's last-gen storage sizes (Or pay to fix their mistake), but if your Wii U breaks you are out of a system.

Nothing is stored in servers to remember your data in case it breaks.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

agreed. Last year i was all digital, mario kart, wind waker, dk, smash etc. really like having all those games on the system. only reason i stopped is because the digital deluxe programm is gone.

im from brazil too.
And that is a great doubt for me too.

There are other issues, like reselling games, smelling the box, lend it to friends or trade games.
For those reasons i still buy physical games.

My biggest problem is games i wouldnt trade I like more and would like to have the box.
Games I would like to trade, I wouldnt mind to get digitally. So, I still keeping physical.

Now there are the Brazil price issue.
I pre-ordered both zelda and XCX at zillion games store. 180R$ each.

Oh, I came across that store just yesterday, is it any good? I was wondering if it's worth it to pre-order Splatoon there.
