Brb 50 million consoles sold.  Great sales, not DS level but still better than I would expect.

Brb went on Game Ranking to look for games .  BRB didnt find to many beside Indie/3DSware.  Most were Nintendo 

BRB has capable hardware (Look at OOT 3DS)

BRB has great online capabilites and connectivity (Look at Kid Icarus Uprising)

Yet all these good things, the support for the system seriously sucks.  Is software sales that down for nintendo or something? To the point were no one wants to develop of 3DS?? srs

Well if you are talking about this year... I am sure most are gearing for the NX handheld which should be announced next year. If you are talking about the system as a whole, then you're cray cray

Compared to regular DS the support is pretty horrible.  Not just this year, but last year too.  It's only been out for like 4 years and its like most big devs dropped it around mid 2013. 

Well considering we're starting to get deep in the 3DS's life span, and with all the talk with the NX, it's probably a sign that Nintendo is ready to say something about their next portable soon, possibly sometime next year or even late this year.

but western developers dont care about handhelds

Handheld gaming, where no developers put out games besides Nintendo and Japanese companies....

Nintendo also supports its deadweight wiiu.......

DS had a lot of support, but most of it was garbageware much like the Wii. The number of quality of titles should be more or less the same between the DS and 3DS.

Well, the 3DS is reaching the end of it's lifespan so it's not really surprising that support is tapering off
