in case you don't know, Nintendo owns the IP for Pocket Monsters/Pokemon. GAME FREAK is the primary dev.

They work in mysterious (mostly stupid) ways I guess...

That whole game pisses me off. Especially its marketing. "My jeans are too tight to carry a 3DS, so until that's figured out..." Fuck. You.

Maybe they can't? Its almost the same but its not quite the same.

Copyrights for mobile games are much different as the ecosystem just doesn't really support copyright claims. There is no automated system to work to find clones and even if there was, game mechanics cant be copyrighted, so each case would have to be evaluated individually.

I didn't know age=level.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

That's hilarious actually!  Even more hilarious since Nintendo will go after gamers for making YouTube videos about their games, but they apparently have no problem with 2-bit developers shamelessly ripping off their IPs.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

lol that's hilarious

Unless that is called a Pikachu Nintendo can't do anything about it. Yeah, it looks similar but it obviously isn't Pikachu. Nor is it called Pokemon. With youtube, that is their content being shown. Just like other music artists that want their content off of youtube, if it's theirs and they complain about it, there's nothing you can do. I don't necessarily agree with what Nintendo is doing and why they're doing it now of all times, I do respect them as a company. All the stupid fuck Nintendo comments are just dumb. They're people just talking out their ass. If Sony were to do something like that, I would still stand for them because, it's their company, their IP. But obviously, Sony sees this differently than Nintendo. They see it as a marketing approach, Nintendo sees it as a way to make money.

Dont really understand Nintendo lol
