Demon's Souls ran on the Havok Engine not PhyreEngine. I googled it and the only websites that said this were non official ones. Havoks official website even list Demon's Soul as using the Havok engine and it even said as much in Demon's Souls credits.
Bloodborne aslo doesn't use the PhyreEngine it's engine was made from the ground up.

It even says they're still using PhyreEngine, there are so many people saying they're using PhyreEngine. Tell me where exactly would they be getting this from? PhyreEngine is mentioned so many times when it comes to Souls games. Also almost every goddamn game ever uses Havok engine and they use it for the physics. They used PhyreEngine for the graphics and Havok for the physics. That is how most games work that used "Havok" as their engine, they use a seperate engine for the graphics.

Given that it takes a Proprietry license to even use the PhyreEngine why wouldn't sony claim these games? Havok has an animation engine (infamous series), a graphic engine (Destiny) and several others including their physics engine. According to Havok, Demon's Souls uses all of them so I'll just take their word and the word of most reliable sites. Why wouldn't Sony list it?
If you have access to this page (http://www.scedev.net/) click "tools and middleware" then click "ps3" then click "PhyreEngine", then "past projects" and look for Demon's Souls and tell me if you see it because I don't. Do the same thing but click PS4 this and see if Bloodborne uses it and they don't.
I'm assuming you don't have access to this page though, so you can belive what you want but I'll believe what sony tells me.
