-the audience is not there ⇒⇒⇒ 50mil isnt there? (or count 40mil)

- games are priced lower ⇒⇒⇒ What does this even mean???

- hardware is weak  ⇒⇒⇒ because Vita is doing so well?

Im not even going to bother reading an article that i already know is biased :-/

I wouldn't advise reading the article. It's laughably biased and essentially the message of it is "Yeah, Nintendo sells more software and hardware in Japan but......none of that matters Sony is better." It also makes a dig at "GOTY Bayonetta 2" not making the cut on the highest selling software, because that's relevant.

Im not going to. Is it as bad as... http://www.ign.com/articles/2011/10/22/the-playstation-vita-is-set-to-succeed :'-(

It's on that level. Twisted reality and spin galore.

I wrote an article on that not so long ago

That's probably the easiest thing to understand. 3DS games are priced lower than other platforms. Publishers get less $/sale, so there's incentive to go on other platforms.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

What's wrong with the first point? The 3DS has barely sold 70 million units of third party software in over four years on the market. To call the 3DS an extremely unhealthy ecosystem for third party developers is being generous, especially once you factor in the reduced revenue generated per sale.

Western developers generally don't care about handhelds. They've never really done great support for handhelds and now with an increasing interest in mobile games they care even less about them.

Japanese developers make a fair few games for it, but they are focusing a lot on mobile games as well. Not only that a lot of smaller niche developers go for the Vita instead since that has an audience that betters fits their niche.

It has also to do with sony dropping first party support, these devolopers now have the spotlight to sell more on the vita and they arent niche by the way. The vita clearly gets more games now than the 3DS despite selling a lot less.

All the niche Japanese games for Vita aren't niche? You sure about that?

If they would be niche they wouldnt be in retail but in the download store, they sell in japan and have their followers in the west

Youkai Watch 3, Youkai Watch Busters and The Snack World announced for 3DS.

"there have been a total of 3 games announced that I didn't already know were coming"

That's confusing but even if you know the game was coming, what does it change. you also have to make up your mind if you're talking about general releases or only the ones that interest you. the 3ds is getting a good amount of releases and western localizations considering it's over 4 years old.
