With a price before then, it can pull it off. Other than that though, without it, I would expect around ~45 million by that time.

It will easily reach 50mil by the end of 2016 with a price drop. The PS4 outpaced the Wii for over a year whilst costing $400 I think people are underestimating the PS4 train.

actually doesn't seem that far fetched. I think it'll be going crazy as soon as it gets a price cut now whether they go $100 or $50 is a big determining factor if they will reach this or not.

Those 2 are in no way related to each other. The PS4 might sell a billion units, that doesn't mean Nintendo will go 3rd Party. The same can be said for the Vita, why doesn't Sony go 3rd party and make 3DS games?

Unless they take the HDD out, A slim model is not coming out next year.
Morpheus is a wild card, and at best it probably cannot do better than the move which is both cheaper and probably more commercially viable.
Realistically, Morpheus itself might spark interests, but VR isn't going to do crap.
