So I've owned a PS2 before but I got that stupid disc read error bullshit only a few years into owning the console and eventually I lost it when I moved into my current apartment. It's been years since I've even touched the PS2 and most of the better games I've never had the chance to play. I just bought my friends PS2 off him for pretty cheap and I was wondering what kind of games you guys would recommend I play.

I'm a fan of JRPGs, First and Third person shooters, survival horror and open world adventure games.

If the game has been remastered on PS3/360 then I'd rather buy it on there so please only list games that have yet to be re-released physically.

As for Persona, I wanna play the games really badly but Im gonna get Persona 1 & 2 on PS1 first. I have OCD so I can't play games out of order, even if they don't tie into each other :P

if you like JRPGS get the .Hack games, ive heard they are pretty good
