What is spotify? Is it like Pandora?

in theory.  the biggest difference is spotify will play the exact song you want while pandora plays what it wants you to hear.

also the app is damn amazing.  absolutly love it.

Congratz on your purchase, be sure to check out Bloodborne and Guilty Gear Xrd, they are both the best exclusives on the system (in my humble opinion of course), Driveclub is apparently really good as well it just had a bad launch due to the server problems and thats why it has a bad metacritic score, but now thats fixed and it has a TON of free content added as of late, so if you like racers check that one out as well.

Ya love putting on a few tunes while grinding in bloodborne. I wish that I didnt have to close the game to access the app

I think you can use the app on your cellphone for that.

I guess the majority of people must have never even tried the Music Unlimited app. MU was better than Spotify on PS4 by a quantum leap. It also worked better on Android, and actually had an app for PlayStation Vita. We just went from a full featured services to the most bare bones and worthless service currently available on PS4. I took advantage of the free two month premium pass for former MU subscribers. After messing with it for 30min in free mode, and 30min in premium I did not see what the benifit of the premium mode was.

Having no way to import my own music, no way to add entire albums to my library, no way to build a playlist, and just a long *** string of songs I have have to scroll tbrough just ain't gonna cut it for me. Having no Vita app means no music on the go, as I sold my Xperia Z3 in disgust about a month ago. I subscribed to Music Unlimited from day one tell the end. I would love to continue to donate $9.99 a month to the music industry, but as it currently stands, I will just go back to the 2 dozen CDs I have from the late 90's tbrough very early 2000's.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

If I am understanding correctly then I could use this app to play an exact song over a game I am playing?  That could be cool, will look into it.

bascially yes.   you'll probably want to build yourself a couple playlists but yes,.. you get to decided what you listen to instead of just "artistist releated to your favorite artist".   the free version has ads but i guess that is the price you pay for free.

That's a really really interesting added feature since I already have a Premium Spotify account. The PS4 is getting more and more irresistible.

My spotify playlists beg to differ and you most certainly can save whole albums...and the main problem with MU was that there was no free option. Your phone doesn't even have the Spotify app available?

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
