Reduce the roll of big nanny government and grant the people the liberty they deserve while allowing for the legal protection of some of our society's most vulnerable individuals? Not only do I think that prostitution should be legal I can not even understand the arguments made against doing so.

Yes I would, actually I have a plan about it. How about matriculating the prostitutes, so that the government know how many prostitutes are there and can control them. They should pay taxes, have a regulated price, and get an exam on health once per month obligatory. I know it sounds a bit tough, but here in Argentina we're having a big problem in the last decade, which is called "Trata de blancas" in Spanish, girls are kidnapped and taken to other places so that they make them prostitutes against their will. And it's so hard to battle, and gets worse and worse everyday...

You do realize that porn content providers, strip clubs and many similar types of businesses will bill you under a different business name than what's on the front of the place. Your church and spouse will be none the wiser if they ever see the bill.

Since 2002? It's been legal at least since the end of WW2! The legislators called it "sittenwidrig" (immoral / indecent), but nevertheless it was legal.

After reading some answers, I think I have to point that prostitution is NOT illegal in Spain.

It is in a legal limbo that makes it neither legal or not, it is simply out of the law and while prostitutes and clients can be fined, it is for other reasons like public nudity, public scandal, etc., but that's it.

That's why making it legal should be rather easy and makes much more sense than keeping it as it is now.

It would be safer if it were legal. Plus it is nobody's business what anyone wants to do with their own body.

Sure, why not. It's safer and you can tax it.
