I'll never understand the appeal of that game. The controls were infuriating. People seem to like it just because of how over the top it was. I don't know why that's a good thing.

That's pretty much what it boils down to, like I said up above, if they had the chance to have it on their system they'd hark it to the heavens as being "next gen" which is why we keep seeing the stupid term "next gen experience" thrown around as if it holds any meaning, PC games for years have been ahead of the curve with games like Crysis and back then you didn't see PS3/360 owners going "I wish i could have my next gen experience on my system!", we didn't hear that ebcause back then they both didn't care and for those that did they knew they had no hopes of running it but now these two systems are being touted as super mega behemothds from some people but they in fact started out weaker than last gen and we're already seeing problems and sacrifices being made and like you said the divisions would start from who gets what game.

I said before that if they made Vanquish multiplat then people would scurry as fast as possible to people like DF to look under the microscope so hard to gather ammo to fire at the other platforms to continue a pointless and childish war and then you've got people who fall for marketing ploys and parrot those adverts on and on as if they actually hold some form of weight.

People have different tastes, that's why. If people consider OTT a good thing, who is anybody else to say differently? I loved it for the gameplay; the gameplay was frenetic, fun, and incredibly involving especially on harder difficulties. If you do not like it, that is fine.

I would want a multiplatform release.

nobody wants that. unless if you want to bomb.

I want everything Platinum wants to do to be done. They are a good developer. If Nintendo bought them it would surely be a good investment.

What a weird thing to say. So, its better if it doesnt get made at all... because it would bomb? Wouldnt that at least deliver one more game in the series? How does this game's sales thing infer on my enjoyment of the game? 

 No, the mistake of putting so much time and effort into a game, and only getting praise, but little back in return. I'm sure now Sony and MS know better than to ignore Platinum, so Platinum might as well go back to making multiplats. At least then, their games will go back to selling decently.

Also just like Bayonetta this game should be multi-platiform or at least on PS since it is a Japanese company & Vanquish was also on PS3

 The first one still sold far better than the second one will. Vanquish was a beautiful game on PS360. The sequel shouldn't have to suffer in that regard by not being on PS4 and XB1. To add on to that, I guarentee it will sell far better on 8th gen than it would if it were exclusive to Wii-U.
