Forums - Gaming Discussion - Best Buy Gamers Club is totally worth it. Go Get It!

Right now it's at $30 (originally around $100), and it's an amazing deal. It thought it was too good to be true and had a feeling there was some kind of catch to it, but after trying it out, I have to say I was worried for nothing. You actually get your money back (and save) after buying three games. I switched from buying my games at Amazon to Best Buy now.

For those who are unaware of what it is, it's a 2-year paid membership from Best Buy, and you get some nice perks regarding games - the best one getting 20% off new software.

20% Off New Games
Instead of paying $60 for a new game, you actually get it for $48. The 20% also applies to games that are on sale, 19.99, Collector's Edition, Black Friday and pre-orders. All you have to do is buy three $60 games within the two year span to get your moneys worth. I normally buy a game a month, so in the two year timespan, I would save more than $250. Also, I pre-ordered Batman and got a $10 certificate along with the discount, so it's like getting it for $38.

Double Points for Rewards
For every $250 spent, you get a $5 certificate. In the gamers club, all you have to do is purchase $125 on games or accessories to get that reward.

There's also other perks like getting 10% off pre-owned games, 10% more in trade-ins, 2 points for every dollar trade-in, and exclusive offers. So yeah, go get it.
