Forums - Nintendo Discussion - What titles will Nintendo anounce to make up for Zelda U?

Sadly nothing.

Current Consoles: PS3, PS4, Wii U

PC Specs: i7-4770, GTX 560 Ti, 12GB 1600Mhz DDR3

Metroid could fill the gap but they won't announce that, neither a big New IP or F-zero. So probably save starfox and X for holiday and (another) 2d platformer and a remake to be announced for 2015

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Why are people saying nothing? Iwata said there are unannounced Wii U games still slated to come out this year. My money's on Animal Crossing or something along those lines.

Animal Crossing and Metroid, if both can come out this year that would be amazing. Though, I expect both of those to launch 2016

Nothing would be sufficient really, they need a Mario Galaxy calibur game to fill this hole. Metroid is nice, but has no where near the needed impact.

Around the Network

metroid, mario strikers, resident evil exclusive, Platinum Games videogame, pikmin 4

For me the only one title I can think of that can replace Zelda is Metroid, or a new IP that they invested a lot into.

Maybe not the impact on sale. But it's good enough for me

We all know it's gonna be something like Super Mario Sunshine HD. I often wonder if that "Big" Wii U game that Famitsu teased has to do with this. Maybe Dragon Quest XI that really appeals to eastern and western players? I dunno.

Nintendo's big holiday title for 2005 was Mario Party 7. Imagine that.

So no, there's probably nothing.
