With Zelda U out of this year's lineup, Nintendo is going to have another WiiU software drought during the winter. However, E3 is still coming, and they will only talk about games releasing this year (and there's the possibility of a Direct too). Outside of titles we already know (Xenoblade, Splatoon, Devil's Third...), what other titles can Nintendo announce to compensate for the lack of Zelda U this year? Will they compensate with quantity or with surprise heavy hitters?

I honestly don't know. Maybe Metroid? :/

For me the only one title I can think of that can replace Zelda is Metroid, or a new IP that they invested a lot into.

Some 3D Adventure title. I'll go ahead and say new IP or Mario.
Guys, Nintendo announced 3D World at E3 2013 and released it Winter of that year, so there will certainly be something.

Edit: Well, that reused like 90% assets from 3D Land...
