Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Xbox One is Looking to have a Strong 2015!

I think console sales will be up 50% YOY when the holidays approach. Xbox One faces little competition later in the year! I think Xbox One sales will reach 23 million units in 2015.

Some predictions I made:

The Witcher 2015 sales: 1.5 million

Assassins Creed Victory 2015 sales: 3 million

Next Call of Duty 2015 sales: 6 million

Halo 5 2015 sales: 8 million

Fifa 16 2015 sales: 2.5 million

*Minecraft retail version will hit 3 million in 2015*

Next Forza 2015 sales: 1.5 million

Gears of War remaster 2015 sales (we know it's coming): 2 million

*Fable legends will be a huge free to play hit*

*windows 10 will create an amazing interface*

300 dollar price with Halo during the holidays here we come!

I agree with a strong year, but 23,000,000 is too much... i think that will be at 18,000,000/19,00,000.

Yeah I bet with the right deals and games coming out this holiday there will be a great holiday for MS.

I have prediction that you'll be wrong on all of those.lol

It'll be a good year for sure, I'm not sure that it's going to reach 23 million by the end of the year but 20-21 is attainable.

Rod Ferguson confirmed a Gears of War collection was not currently being made right? Though that doesn't mean they didn't remaster the original.

Some of those predictions seem a bit off, I don't expect AC: Victory to sell 3 million units by the end of the year.

Tagging just for the "little competition" dig in a thread made prior to E3.

Also Fifa 15 has only sold 1.7 million on XBO to date... Fifa 16 won't sell 2.5 million before the end of the year.

23m is a little optimistic but it's definitely possible! After all, nobody expected it to reach practically 11m by the end of 2014!

I just want to point out that statistically, 2nd full year is better than 1st in almost every instance excluding the WiiU. So yes, 23m is attainable, specially considering Halo 5, Tomb Raider, Fable, and Forza 6 will all be out in the same year.

Though ill take 21-22m

EDIT: WiiU is also higher in second full year than first, so in every instance
