Delaying Zelda means "many oppertunity" damn you Sony fanboy will troll very hard to try to make NIntendo go third party. You kids today really need to lear how to form your own opionon.

I want this on record, I have been called many things, but never a Sony fanboy! XD If anything I get flack for bashing Sony.

I want this fucking printed out and framed.

ONE freaking day you've criticised nintendo,  just ONE day,  out of your entire forum life,  and already been called a sony fanboy.

To the average person who buys around 5 games per console, Wii U is the best. You can't just expect Nintendo themselves to satisfy all your needs as a game addict and say their hardware failed otherwise.

Who actually buys just 5 games for their console? So you're anyone that wants more than 5 games is a game addict?

Nintendo is a video game maker. Yes we damn well expect them to pump out alot more games especially since they lost 3rd party support for their console.

One game a year or less..   Dang,  doesn't even make the hardware purchase a justifiable cost.

That isn't to say that there is nothing else coming besides Zelda U this holiday season. There could be something else announced that will be great too at E3, or just later this year. You never know. I also think this does a disservice to the other games coming out this year. They may not be Zelda, but they could be great games on their own.

I would love to believe this, but honestly, Nintendo's recent behaviour scares me. It seems like nothing is safe anymore. I wake one day and bam, Zelda is not just delayed, but won't even be at E3, this coming just weeks after the announcement of a new platform and a deal to enter the mobile market.

At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised to wake up tomorrow and find Nintendo have entered a deal with Apple to make all their games iPhone exclusive or some outlandish nonsense. It feels like all bets are off and anything and everything can and will happen.

It is surprising that Zelda won't be shown at E3 this year, but it could be due to the new ideas they want to implement into the game, it may be that they don't want to show the game again until it is near completion, being able to show all the 'new possibilities' they promised. You also said it your self, Nintendo is no stranger to delaying a game to give it more time to make a better game. I imagine this is the same scenario. There's no ulterior motive behind this game being delayed. Just that they want to make the best game they can. At least that's how I see it.

Now i admit it, Nintendo just throw wiiu in to a garbage. Just look at the gamefaqs and see the wiiu section... Just some shit games in the 3-5 months. We dont even know when Xenoblades Chronicles realeas date. I love Ninty console for a loong time, i do thing gamecube are the worst now we have wiiu in our hand. Empty and sadness... Zelda and Xeno is the only games on Wiiu that i really put a faith on this year, but now.... Im gonna play destiny and mh4u.

Hahah I can vouch for this too. Never in all the time I've seen curl-6's posts, would I have considered him a Sony fanboy.

As a huge Nintendo fan I hope they cut their losses and dump the WiiU.

Release a new console. Launch it with a 3d Mario and Zelda game.

As a huge Nintendo fan I could not agree more. Most Nintendo fans skipped the Wii-U for a reason, be it the weak hardware, the lack of games, the lack of 3rd party support, the lack of adult games, the misplaced or nonexitent marketing, the unreasonably high price, or the stupid tablet. If Nintendo fans bought a Wii-U, system sales would be much much higher.

There are alot more Nintendo fans out there who doesn't own a Nintendo console after the N64. Main reason: Rare was gone. You see Rare was the mature "department" of Nintendo. When they left Nintendo a major part of the Nintendo fans looses interests in Nintendo.GoldenEye sold almost 10 millions copies and if you divide that by 2 you get a more realistic numbers fans who did loose interest in Nintendo. But dont get me wrong they are still Ninteno fans but I  call them "sleepers", still waiting for THE game. I hope Retro is gonna deliver with the next Metroid if they are working on it...

Man you have been totally sodden by the negativity of internet if you really believe that Zelda is skipping the WiiU...

That´s not happening , Aonuma says clearly that they are making the definitive Zelda for WiiU, there´s no doubts about the game coming to WiiU, that´s crap that people on the forums says.

And Square Enix clearly stated that FFXV (Versus) was coming for PS3/360 for a long time. Sony stated that The Last Guardian was a PS3 games, etc.
Personally, I think Zelda will still come out on WiiU. But there is certainly room for doubt here, no matter what Nintendo say at the moment.

Also, to adress what you said earlier about PS4's current lacking library of quality games, people are saying that now as a matter of convenience. Because you know, just as well as everyone else, that we know what to expect from a Sony library down the line. A lot of good games. And that's why people feel more confident investing in that console.
Moreover, the HD twins have only been out for a bit over a year now, and at that point the WiiU had just recently gotten what most would consider its first must have must have game, Mario 3D World.

Nop, by this time WiiU had Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3D World and DK: Tropical Freeze. Along with other lower exclusives like Wonderfull 101, Nsmbu, city undercover or Zombie U. And 2 months later the big Mario Kart 8. Ps4  at the moment: Bloodborne, some good multiplat (maybe 2?) and lots of overhyped multiplats.
