Well, PS4 is released in China by a week, and Sony still don't have annunced some number's? I remember that Microsoft have annunced the XBO shipment in china in the same period... when do you think that Sony will annunced the official number's for PS4 and why nope, for Vita?

EDIT: seem that PS4 is at 73,000 as for now (21,000 Vita)... but is not 100% confirmed.

Sony were never going to announce individual numbers for China. I could have told you this before they ever released the console there. 

Just like they never have for Australia or Spain or Turkey etc....

Microsoft announced they were selling in 100,000 units in the first day in a financial report. 

It is without a doubt that the PS4 is doing better in China than the Xbox One both officially and on the grey market.

No, that was a filing for Sony saying they will ship 200,000 a year that was filed to culture office. 

Sony clarified the number was estimated for the filing and will change.

Sony only talks when it has something to gloat about. So, it was obvious from the launch pictures that the Next gen systems are not big sellers in China.

Anyone with a brain knew that was going to be the case. People who claimed otherwise (like the "if just 1% of China buys it" guy) were in fact ridiculed on this very site.

From what I've heard and seen in Chinese forums, the PS4 and Vita got better reception than the XB1 so I won't be surprised if both systems fared significantly better. We'll likely hear something about China in Sony's quarter results, but no actual numbers.
