Noooo... T^T It's popular with the kids, some junior high, high school, and some grown ups, but I never got to try it... If only the 3DS was region free.... TwT I wish I could at least watch kids play it...

YEP!!!! It definitely helped Nintendo with the 3DS hardware sales, and the game droughts.
I wonder if it will have a good impact outside of Japan. I dont think the anime is that popular.

It's popular. It's in the top ten, which is rare for something new. The lower half, sure, but nothing is going to top the Sazea-sans, One Pieces, and Doramons of the world.
It's a straight-up kid's anime, though, which makes me wonder how much I would enjoy the game. Still, it's always nice to see new IP hit such great success. It will be interesting to see how it does in the west.

it is targeted mainly for kids not sure if western kids or even adults would like/love it. better for Nintendo to market this IP to the west to test the waters and try the 1st yokai watch game to the west and validate the response or if it would be just decent or poor sales.

oh! im talking about outside of Japan. since i dont see much people talking about it. Or are you refering it to outside of Japan?
