On a side note, I wonder if we will end up getting BOTH Zelda U and Metroid U as holiday 2016 titles? Yes, I'm fully expecting Zelda to be delayed by a full year if they don't even want it at this year's e3.

That would definitely shut up all the annoying "Wii U will be dead by the end of the year" comments at least.

No worries! And that would be strange, actually. Has that ever happened before? Nintendo essentially has to be cheaper than the competition at all costs this gen. I think XBO may get another price cut before PS4 does, though.

In addition to what I posted earlier I doubt they would delay this as an NX launch title. They did do it with the Twilight Princess but it left people feeling burnt by their decision. No it will more than likely be the swansong title of the system and moved for two reasons. The first is to make sure it is the best game they can make for it. And second the last few systems they haven't been great at supporting the system in its last year so it will provide the system with something in its last year that is worth holding onto.

In lieu of Zelda, I think Nintendo might pile on the resources to push Star Fox from being a AA title to a AAA title. Similar to what we have been seeing with the increasing game modes in Splatoon. Alternatively, maybe Nintendo can double down on Metroid (assuming it's a year into development) and possibly have it ready for Christmas.

Which people were burned by the decision? The game probably sold double the amount if not more by making that move so general consumers voted with their wallets. 

Yes I recall initially there was some outcry about it, but after about 3-4 months of letting the news settle, people got over it. Same thing will happen here and yes IMO Zelda will be a NX title. 

Not being able to show the game at all at E3 ... c'mon, where there's smoke there's a full blown fire now, Nintendo so totally moved this to NX.

That would be awesome. Star Fox is my system seller. Its just a let down that I am hearing about the NX so soon. I am so used to longer generations because of Sony.

If Nintendo tries to make Star Fox bigger they will surely screw up their 2015 lineup for good. X and Splatoon will be out in the desert. Star Fox would be pushed back to 2016.
