So after a long while exclusively gaming on PlayStation  I've finally decided to get a 3DS(or 2DS) but Il admit im not to up to date on the pros and cons of the different models. The XL sounds nice with the larger screen but the 2DS price is appealing. I found aused 3DS XL for $135 on ebay, trusted seller. Or should I stick to buying one brand new? Also I have some games I want but would take suggestions. Thanks PS I have always loved Nintendo, just got away from them for some reason

3DS XL. Hands down. Unless you care more about easy portability over a larger screen.

Edit: Forgot game suggestions! Out of the ones I've played, I highly recommend Fire Emblem: Awakening, Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Super Mario 3D Land, Majora's Mask 3D, Pokemon Y, Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Bravely Default.

3DS.

I only have a launch 3DS, but my buddy has a 3DS XL, and it looks amazing. Personally I'd say to get either of those, depending on your price range. Try to go brand new if you can.

Personally I'd recommend against the 2DS, though I admit I haven't played one. The original 3DS probably isn't too much more expensive, and it looks a lot nicer IMO.

For games, I have a metric ton of suggestions XD. If you're a fan of RPGs, I'd recommend Fire Emblem, Bravely Default, Tales of the Abyss, and SMT IV and Devil Survivor. Though I can give recommendations for other genres too, if you'd like.

Whatever you get though, you're in for a treat. Easily my favorite 8th gen system.

Wait for the holiday. I bet a $150 New3dsXL is possible.

I suggest getting a new3dsXL if you can cause it will give you the best experience out of all of them and it will allow you to play any potential exclusives it may have

3DS XL, preferably the New 3DS XL if you wanna get your hands on Xenoblade and other huge titles that can't fit on the normal 3DS. The Normal 3DS already has a great library though
