Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Whats More Shocking Than Zelda U's Delay? The Nintendo Fans >_>

To be honest, I'd be surprise to see no Nintendo fans complain about this delay... A really hyped game being delay is never good news to the fans.

Yes after almost 20 years it sounds like EAD is finally making a proper Star Fox game.

You have a lot more faith in it than I do.

Anger on the Internet about something like this is far from uncommon...but yeah overreactions a plenty. Not a surprise ofcourse, people have been waiting so long for this so it's only natural that tempers will flare up.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Completely disagree.

They paid for their WiiUs. They have the right to vent. It's the only thing they can do. And it's good that they do. Only stupid people do nothing or defend a company when it shortchanges them.

How is a company going to get better if all the feedback is positive? The backlash keeps the company on their toes. It stops them from getting complacent. Just look at how the quality of other companies have plummeted. That's what happen when your customers drink your kool-aid no matter what. Crappy yearly sequels? Unfair DLC? Amazing devs getting sacked? People keep buying the products in mass anyway.

Its good to know that there's a fanbase in gaming willing to bite the hand of their company of choice. No defend their mediocrity or ignore the problems exist.

Nintendo fanbase. I'm proud of you. Other fanbases should learn.

This guy gets it.

If we keep letting companies treat us like crap, things will never improve.

We are paying customers, we don't owe Nintendo anything.

but thats kinda part of the problem. Stop paying, money talks. We can sit on the forums and complain nobody of import will most likely see it. If you truly are not happy with the company stop supporting said company, they'll change there ways then.

I'm seriously considering not buying their next system.

You should probably wait a year or two and see how they support it.

I did that with Wii U, waited til November of 2013.

I'm not saying I regret it, as there have been some top notch games, but I don't know if I'd be up for another round of this next gen.

The way some Nintendo fans seem to live and die over Nintendo titles is because their home consoles end up with so few games. Everything released is under a microscope. Sometimes, both the optimism and cynicism seem very artificial. I see people talking up Devil's Third when it wouldn't get a second look if it were multi-platform release. People beg for development news, then they complain if a game is revealed too early.

That's the way it is when each game has to carry an entire fanbase for a period of time and the really big titles sometimes have to support an entire year.

they really should be multiplat owners for there own sanity.

Jesus christ it's isn't the end of the world.
1 year is nothing. (unless for some strange reason it's Nintendo who delay a game )

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,
