Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Pokemon Rumble World, big holiday Amiibo title?

http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2015/03/new_pokemon_rumble_world_web_domain_teases_new_brawler

Could this be the next big Amiibo game Nintendo releases with a Holiday 2015 release?

Possibly available on both 3DS & Wii U?

It better not be. The rumble games are shovelware.

Yes, previous titles were mediocre but that doesn't mean the series can't become better moving forward. The main purpose would be to sell a bunch of Pokemon Amiibo so with that incentive, Nintendo may give the series the love it needs to become a solid series.

Also just to note, I'm not saying it will be THE big holiday title, just a holiday title to supplement other releases and sell a new line of Amiibo.

Have you played Super Pokemon Rumble/Pokemon Rumble Blast? Because it's not shovelware at all. It's quite a solid game. And based on the title of this new one, it definitely sounds like it's not just a battle arena game like the current Wii/Wii U Pokemon Rumble games. If I had to guess, I'd say that, with a name like "Pokemon Rumble World", it'll probably be a full-fledged adventure.

Of course, you might think "shovelware" if you care more about graphics, because they're intentionally designed to have simplistic graphics. It's part of the theme - they're not pokemon, they're wind-up toys.

...Do you see my avatar? Pokemon is my favorite gaming franchise. Of course I've played them. I've played every Pokemon game. Like ever. I'm playing Shuffle now. I completed the first game on Wii back when it was only 1st and 4th gen Pokemon. It's shovelware. There's nothing "solid" about it. It's boring and repetitive.

I don't know why anyone would ever want to play a full-fledged adventure off a game like that. And I don't know why Nintendo would try to do NFC figures with another Rumble game on the Wii U after they already failed once with Rumble U.

And no, it has nothing to do with the graphics.

This.. so much this.

They're mindless no depth games, and I hope it isn't going to be put as a big hitter.

Whenever people complain about the Warriors games, I point to the Rumble games. Those games were announced at a time were they literally only sold because they were the first Pokemon games where you could battle in real time. Needless to say, that novelty wears of quick.
