Forums - Nintendo Discussion - A history of Wii U delays

Tagged games:

Let's have a look at just how many first party games have been pushed back on the system...

- Pikmin 3

- The Wonderful 101 (Not Nintendo developed, but Nintendo published)

- Wii Party U

- Wii Fit U

- Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze

- Xenoblade Chronicles X

- Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (In PAL)

- Kirby and the Rainbow Curse (In PAL)

- Zelda

This recent Zelda delay is not a freak occurence, it is the norm for Nintendo on Wii U.

It is also the norm for various console Zelda games!

But some come on time... Can some one list those?

Proudest Platinums - BF: Bad Company, Killzone 2 , Battlefield 3 and GTA4

for the record-
Xenoblade Chronicles X was never delayed. people only "suspected" it was a 2014 release. there was never a confirmation. hell, there still isnt a confirmed release date.

Xenoblade featured in a "Wii U games coming in 2014" video released by Nintedo in late 2013, only to later be removed.

Isn't the 3D World reverse-delay some kind of positive karma cancelling one of those out?

Not that bad. Games now a days are so big, predicting a time window for it to be done is a challenge on its own. Meeting that dead line even harder.

Yeah, but none of those other games are Zelda.

On the up side, each and every one of those are ultra solid titles. I mean nearly bug free (at least the ones released) and are fairly high caibur as well. No 20-40GB patch downloads for any of them :P.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.
