sive Games, and probably another 3rd party exclusive.

Gears 4 could be a 2017-Q1 launch.

If Black Tusck started work on the game in early 2014 and a 3 year cycle seems to be the norm this days. I would be surprised.

2016. Black Tusk is revealing it at E3. 2017 only if it gets pushed back.

As much as i want Gears 4 to be 2016 since its my favorite franchise, they havent given an estimate for when itll be finished yet.  Right now its just assumptions, but they revealed Halo 5 two years ago and it ended up being in developement for 3 years.  So im just saying that i wouldnt say itll be 2016 for sure yet

It would make sense that the game would have a two year cycle after the first games launch. Gears is my favorite Microsoft game as well, so I too would want it to be great. The reason I say 2016 is because Microsoft loves two year cycles where Halo and Gears take over the end of the year interchangably like last gen until their trilogies eventually burn out.

Not true.  Halo has always been on a 3 year cycle.  Gears has Went 2 to 3 years, so its hard to say either or, specially considering different developers.

EPIC Games - Gears of War 3 - 2011
People Can Fly - Gears of War Judgement - 2013

Bungie - Halo - 2001
Bungie - Halo 2 - 2004

I must've only been following Gears timeline then. Makes sense.

Not only you got their timelines wrong but their success as well.

When Halo reached a trilogy(Halo 3), it was the epitome of the franchise and it's still being played today.

When Gears reached the third iteration, it's multiplayer was considered by the community as the best one to date. We're talking about the best entry in a series considered the best TPS.

I never spoke of their success. Jay responded accordingly.

Jay didn't tackle your sentence where you say:

I'm pretty sure you said there that by the third game their sales or production qualities were down. Am I wrong?

I think he just meant that he thought they'd release Halo and Gears on 2 year devs cycles interchanging between the 2 until their current trilogies end (Halo 4-6, Gears 4-6). However, Halo's 2nd trilogy is no longer a trilogy, it was renamed from the Reclaimer trilogy to the Reclaimer saga because it might last longer than 3 games.

I just re-read it. He didn't say anything wrong,it was my fault I didn't interpret it right.

It's still his fault everytime he comments anything Xbox, I see red XD

Sorry bruh, I thought you had said "burned out" instead of burn out.

It's your fault I jump quick on your neck though lol.
