Yep at this rate, the X1 is the console to invest in this holiday.

For now though, PS just got a major title in Bloodborne. I wouldn't be suprised to see this bundled this holiday season. Plus I am sure Sony has some megatons to reveal at E3. To many studios at work on next gen with nothing revealed not to.

As it stands now however, looks like I can dust off my X1 for something other than Titanfall and MCC this holiday as it def has the edge for now.

Microsoft have Forza, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Halo 5, (probabily) the Gears collection.

 

I hate Halo (though H2 was alright), don't care about TR, already played Gears and was 'meh' so I don't want to waste another second on those old games.

I loved Forza 1-4, but was really REALLY let down by 5. FH2 was pretty good. So out of that list, only Forza 6 would be something I would consider remotely worthwhile.

 

The only other exclusives I like this year look like some small stuff and Bloodborne, everything else good looks multiplaform imho (everyone's different of course).

 

IOW : Exclusives are continuing to get trumped by the slew of big multiplats.

If those games that are meant to help to dominate the holidays can't make the X1 outsell the PS4 worldwide then they obviously aren't dominating anything
It rather shows how powerful the Playstation brand is if they win(what they will) even without their best lineup
Or it shows how weak Halo,Tomb Raider and stuff are and even if they release all in the same time they can't overthrow the PS4 which will AS OF NOW live of Fifa and MGS5.

The only meassurement for domination are sales and not personal feelings IN THAT CASE

In terms of games they won last year hands down. In terms of sales they came in second. In terms of games they will most definitely win 2015. Sony has a better chance at 2016. Nintendo lacks third party so they have no edge even with their exclusives, which is probably why they are going to have to get people behind their new console early. Almost every commentator that i've heard has pretty much agreed that the PS4 won 2014 out of hype and the hype remains going into 2015. Its about time they earn the hype.
