Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Prediction: Zelda U won't be ready until 2017 and TP HD will be out next year

So I'm just going to bet that Zelda U won't arrive until 2017 because it isn't even going to be shown at E3 2015. Also I think it's going to be pushed back for the next Nintendo home console which I think will come 2017 as well. However the game will still be released on Wii U either eShop or limited collector edition a few months after the next Nintendo home console.

In order to avoid blacklash from fans, Nintendo will reveal Twilight Princess HD for 2016 which will look similar to the E3 2012 tech demo.

Lawl no... Firstly, Twilight Princess HD would cause a huge backlash cause who the fuck would actually trade a new Zelda game for an HD remaster? And secondly, it will be holiday 2016 at best for the wiiU only... This transition is similar to when the wii went to the wiiU and the DS went to the 3ds...

Skyward Sword came out in 2011 and they showed off the 3ds in the same year... Zelda U will come out in 2016 and they will show off the NX which is most likely a handheld, in that year

Then the year after, they will show off their next gen console and they will show some more games for the NX just like how they did it with the wiiU

All of these remasters is one of many reasons why my PS4 and Wii-U is collecting dust and why my Genesis is getting regular play. I am so sick of these publishers thinking that they can shove old games down our throats and think that it will mask the fact that this current generation is seriously lacking. Every time there is a drought (and it's pretty often this generation) you can BET there will be an old game "remastered" and shipped by the holiday season.

I am old enough to have argued on playgrounds about Genesis/SNES. I've played ALL of these when they came out. I didn't spend $400.00 on a console to play prettier PS3 games.
