No way is Halo 5 getting delayed. Microsoft showed with MCC that they would rather stick to the schedule and ship a broken game rather than delay it to fix it properly. XBox only sells during the holidays in the US, and to not have Halo would spell disaster for them.
I fully expect Halo to make the scheduled release, and then to receive constant fixes to finally bring it to a playabke state sometime in the mid-2016.

Exactly what makes you so sure Halo 5 will be broken? Its the only one out of the 3 games that the public has been able to play.

MCC was broken, and 6 months later we are still reading about fixes being tested to bring the game to the state it should have been at the start. So the confidence in the ability of 343i is not really booming, it is obvious that they have a very tight schedule imposed by MS that greatly exceeds their skill level.

1. Its been 4 months.

2. Do you know the reason MCC was broken or do you seriously think 343i was the sole reason for it?

3. MCC didn't have a beta. Halo 5 did. 3 months ago.

I never understood the reasoning that WiiU has the best exclusive line ups. Maybe for a Nintendo style gamer.

For an ecletic Western gamer, WiiU doesn't really offer much variety.

For example, I like FPS, TPS/A, Arcade and Sim Racing games, Soccer sims and Platformers. I would be missing a lot if I had chosen WiiU.

sure you would miss alot, thats why you should have a wiiu and a pc... there is just no alternative to pc if you like fps or deeply complex sims.

But even in that scenario the Wii U is likely gonna collect a lot of dust.

The average fan of PC games probably has little interest in what Nintendo does. The PC audience is more interested in what MS and Sony does.

MS does nothing interresting, they have fps and tps, both allmost unplayable and not so great if compared to other fps/tps

and sony has ND, the rest of sonys studios is making "games" with little to no/bad game play and worse writting than transformers...

BUT, the ps4 is interresting for exclusive 3rd party games.

wiiu is a social console, you sit down, drink beer and play MK or smash.

It won't be delayed. Microsoft will want (and kind of need) to capitalise on having by far the best holiday lineup, plaus maybe a price cut to $300.

Most people suggesting this are just passionate $ony/Nintendo fans trying to give themselves consolation.

not gonna happen, MS would rather release a broken halo 5 in the holidays than delay it.

I think people are reading the question as:

Do you want halo 5 to be delayed?

-Please yes

-No

-see results.

Judging from your avatar, I imagine that you would pick no.

Well, if it is gonna be ready, release it. If it's gonna be all buggy and run like crap, they should hold off.

I dont think it will be because Microsoft wont let this chance get away. But, i do think it will be rushed out and buggy and will have an overall bad reception.

Why are people hammering on a broken Halo release? Have you guys ever played a stand alone main series Halo?
So now can we expect Sony to deliver broken games as well because of DriveClub?
